Kino-polis curates public domain films available on YouTube into a unified discovery and viewing experience. Our goal is to make it easy to explore early and classic cinema — from silent-era masterpieces to mid-century gems — all in one place.

None of this would be possible without the YouTube channels and archivists who host, restore, and preserve these films. We are deeply grateful for their dedication to keeping film history accessible to everyone.

How to Use

Anyone can browse and watch films — no account required. Create a free account to unlock a personal screening room that remembers your history and tastes:

• ◆Watchlist & Watched — queue up films you want to see, then mark them watched as you go to build a personal viewing history.
• ◆Favorites & Ratings — heart the films that mean the most to you and give each a score from one to five stars.
• ◆Progress tracking — your place in a film is saved automatically, so you can always pick up right where you left off.
• ◆Lists — create and curate your own themed collections, such as “Silent Comedies” or “Essential Noir.”

Your email address will never be shared and is only used for password resets and account verification.
