Richard Barthelmess as a European prince who comes to America, falls for a girl who does not know his title, and has to decide whether a throne is worth a person. Kenneth Webb directed for First National, 1926, from a 1920 play; Lois Moran is the girl. Barthelmess, a Griffith graduate, plays the prince as a man who would rather be ordinary — the opposite of the usual royal-slumming picture. Silent, late, already a little old-fashioned in the year of The General. The charm is Barthelmess's face, which never quite believes the plot.
